Richard Nugent / Director
Richard played football league with Barnet as well as many leading
Conference clubs. He has spent the last 12 years looking after
the financial requirements of many leading players, virtually all of whom
remain loyal
customers. His experience and knowledge of financial opportunities
has lead to dozens of satisfied clients. Richard is a qualified FPC Financial
Advisor and a member of the Institute of Financial Planners.
Gary Poole / Director
Gary played professional football for 15 years from 1984-1999
for clubs including Spurs, Arsenal, Cambridge, Barnet (Capt),
Plymouth (Capt), Southend (Capt), Birmingham (Capt) and Charlton
(Capt) as well as representing England at non-league level. A qualified
FA
coach with
a full badge, Gary was the company's first client. He understands
the needs of today's professional and has seen how beneficial
the support Sportspro offers can be over a number of years.
John Halliwell / Director.
John has spent over 30 years in the marketing and construction industries
working with and for, many leading national brands in all
market sectors including advertising, promotion, public relations,
retailing and direct
sales. With a keen interest in all sport, particularly at
grass roots level, John along with the other company principals is
continually identifying
and pursuing the many opportunities that the unique Sportspro
brand presents for its clients.
Robert Miller / Director
Robert is a member of the Institute of Co-operative Directors. He
is a former Senior Officer in the Police Service both here
and abroad, mainly in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Robert
works as
an educational and recreational consultant with the Office
for Standards in Education (OFSTED), the Cabinet Office on Modernising
Government and
Charter Mark Award Scheme for Excellence in the Public Sector.
Robert was manager for the British Police Amateur Boxing Team that competed
in
the World Championships in 1994 in the USA. He is currently
a qualified cricket and athletics coach with the sports national governing
bodies
and a member of the Modern Pentathlon Association.
Lizzie Donnachie
Lizzie joined the company in January 2004 having recently completed
her Marketing degree. She has a keen interest in all sports,
particularly football. Her studies at the University of Central
England ended with
her receiving a 2:1 honours degree and a licentiateship from
the City and Guilds institute in Marketing. Based at our Hitchin
address Lizzie
is here to help with all client requirements as well as specific
Marketing related activities.
Kay Cook
Kay joined the company in October 2003 having previously worked for Marks and Spencer Plc in Group Financial Control for 14 years. Kay works primarily in the property division of the company, and is developing and controlling the administrative procedures on behalf of clients. In addition her role also includes liasing with Millfield Sportspro, looking after our clients financial service requirements.
